Hello! I'm running for re-election to the City Council in the Southeast district. I hope to meet you as I go door-to-door and reach out to my constituents. 

I'm hoping to earn your vote by sharing a little more about myself & why I'm running for another term on the council. I co-own a small business on Main Street, The Swag Shoppe, & my husband Scott is the Head Coach of the Aberdeen Wings. We moved here from Topeka, KS and from the minute we arrived, we submerged ourselves in helping to grow & create the best Aberdeen possible. We have spent almost 10 years here, we love this community and are thankful to be a part of it!

In 2020 when I ran for my first term, I had just experienced the devastating loss of our son Kellan. 5 years later, I am a much different person. I am the mother of 4 year old twins, I work full time for myself, and I understand city government so much better, and what it takes to accomplish things. It might not be as fast as I'd like, but I'm proud of what I've done in 5 years, and know that if voted back in, I can accomplish a long list of other goals for this community.

I have learned that advocating for the city of Aberdeen, those who live within it, and the local business owners who invest here is a strong passion of mine. I am driven to continue to achieve the mission of making this city the best community it can be.  I want to continue to be an advocate for you.
