Have all council meetings live streamed so they are easily accessible. (January 2021)
The videos were posted on YouTube after the meeting, but as a council we have worked to live stream and have all meetings accessible as they happen instead of after.
Create online forms for permits, making it easier for people to submit requests & pay. (April 2025)
The website has been reworked and designed to be more user friendly. The forms are currently being replaced with fillable forms to make it a better experience for the consumer.

We now have an area where all community concerns can be easily reported, including road issues. The phone application is in the works and will be launched later this year!

Our landscape ordinance was updated in 2021 to help make it more reasonable for development while maintaining green space. Currently ongoing is revamping of the signage ordinance and an ordinance review.
Address Melgaard traffic AGAIN & put a timeline in place to fix it. (Light installed in 2021)
Traffic on Melgaard and Lawson, as well as other areas along Melgaard was an ongoing issue. The traffic light installed was a huge improvement, as well as crosswalk lighting by Central High School.
Create more green space in town. (This is ongoing - including purchase of PC land & park additions)
Working to maintain nature, add parks, and preserve green space has been a huge part of what the council has worked on. Currently I am working towards adding more parks in the SE area as well as working to enforce the city statue on parks being a requirement in new subdivisions.
